Medical detox...: I do not know about Canada or Canadian health care system. In the US a medically supervised detox program of at least 2 weeks must then be followed by inpatient therapy programs. The most effective programs are 90 days or more. The best ones are 6 - 12 months. None will be effective if you truly deep down do not want to make a lifestyle change and beat this demon.
