Probably useless: Clotrimazole is an effective anti-skin fungal. Fungal infection of the lids is extremely rare. You might get a little benefit from the cream the clotrimazole is dissolved in. If the lid is dry, first start with any kind of skin cream and see if that helps. If the itching persists you can try over the counter cortisone cream applied very lightly once or twice per day.
