Puzzling problem: Itching is a common body response to skin irritation and or allergic stimulus. By your description, several days of this cream (twice daily) is adequate if it is really ringworm.Other possibilities include: individual reaction to components in the cream, or the assumption that it is ringworm is in error. In some, direct application of cold to the skin can cause an itchy hive to appear.
