Osler's nodes?: Skin lesions are always best seen via picture or in person. They could be contact dermatitis to something much more serious like endocarditis. Endocarditis causes splinter hemorrhages under the nails and skin of the fingertips due to microemboli. It is also associated with shortness of breath, malaise, fever, among other systemic symptoms. Please see a physician for an evaluation. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/endocarditis/basics/symptoms/CON-20022403
