Many hospitals use: the same formula for all babies, unless a problem develops or there is a medical contraindication or family history of an allergy. However, you should speak to the pediatrician who will be caring for your baby after birth, to discuss any concerns. Breast-feeding, if you can, would be an even better option.

Local options vary: Many hospitals carry only one formula to avoid storage and cost issues. They are unlikely to interfere if you bring your own. I would contact the facility and find out their formula and proceed from there.
