BP 55/43: Would first recheck it , it is low . Normally low BP 9-100/ 50 is good. But too low you can not perfuse your head and organs. Are you dizzy? Would recheck and discuss with your doctor ,If real may be addison's disease or if on chronic steroids a sign that you are being stressed and need stress dose steroids.

Recheck BP make sure: A BP of 55/43 is extremely low. I would have you recheck this and make sure this is being taken properly. A normal BP is around 120/80, although if your BP is around 110/65 or so this also fine. BP less than 80/60 with symptoms of being lightheaded or dizzy or your heart rate is racing (Heart rate more than 100) can be dangerous. I would then advise you go to the ER now.
