Shellfish allergy: You should be fine with salmon. This is a fish, but not a shellfish. I would have some allergy medicine available however incase you do have a reaction. But, in general this will be safe for you.

See below: Iodine is not the allergen in shellfish. The allergen in shellfish is a muscle protein called tropomyosin. It is a myth, that continues to be perpetuated, that iodine is the allergen ion shellfish. They have nothing to do with one another.
