Dark Bowel Movements: Dark bowel movements usually signify upper gastrointestinal bleed. If you are taking iron supplements your stool tends to become dark as well. Are you having symptoms of abdominal pain/Reflux? This warrants further workup by a gastroenterologist or your primary physician. Hope this helps.
