To Know A Node: Never heard of that one. Maybe you mean "subcarinal?" That's an area in the chest behind the heart. The carina is where the breathing tube divides left and right. Around that area are a lot of lymph nodes. They defend against infection, inflammation and cancer and start to swell when they go into action. Only your doctor will be able to tell you what that may mean in your specific situation.
