A member asked:

Is cialis safe for someone who had ocular histoplasmosis 40 years ago?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low risk: Unless you have vision in only one eye let's say from a complication of histoplasmosis or other, your risk for ocular side effects with Cialis is about 3-10%. Complications are infrequent and usually reversible, like "blue vision", central serous retinopathy, & shimmering in vision. Ischemic optic neuropathy has been suggested as a possible complication but has not been substantiated. Ask ur MD.
