Mgt/workup: Your symptoms may be due to a viral illness early in its course. Chest tightness is often a symptom of wheezing/asthma. If you have asthma, following your action plan is advised. If you have no prior history of wheezing, a visit with your doctor and pulmonary function testing is suggested.
