SIADH: Venlafaxine is within a class of drugs called SSRIs (Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors). This class of drug has been associated with SIADH. If this can be avoided that would be best depending on the severity of the low sodium(hyponatremia). Alternatively if this drug needs to be taken, the sodium should be watched carefully. I would seek the assistance of a nephrologist.
