No: Hi. Welt-like rash is not a manifestation of diabetes. Of course diabetics, like non-diabetics, can get welts, but it's not the diabetes causing them. Are you diabetic? Your BMI is 34.9, and that puts you at much greater risk of getting diabetes than a normal BMI; if your waist circumference is >35 inches, your risk is even higher. Weight loss would be good for you. If diabetic, control it well.

Weight: You are headed for trouble. Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 and the usual BMI should be 20-25. You need to lose weight. With that and your diabetes in mind you must have your doctor refer you to a diabetes educator. You would also be helped by seeing an athletic trainer.
