I'm 28 days late, i took a test last night and it was negative. i checked my cervix tonight and it was high, soft, and closed. what's going on?

Cervical checking: is not helpful. I know its all over the internet now, but its complete and total nonsense. Politely I really recommend against it: it's difficult, sometimes impossible, to do reliably on yourself, and it doesn't tell you anything terribly useful. What are you trying to learn?
