No and Yes: Pregnancy will cause an ovarian cyst to remain, if it is the corpus luteal cyst of pregnancy. That cyst could enlarge to the size of a softball and remain until about 15 weeks gestation. It is normal for a woman who is ovulating to have multiple ovarian cysts and intercourse is not contra-indicated.
