Maybe not GERD...: Evaluation is key to determining if your symptoms are reflux-related or not. Also, if reflux, is it acid or non-acid material that is involved? Sometimes, "sourbrash" may be due to pulmonary, ent, or dental issues. Heart disease is often misinterpreted as GERD. Especially if unresponsive to therapeutic dosing of acid blocker Rx, then get evaluated byyour doc &/or gastroenterology specialist please
