More information: How old are you? Does this occur with head turned to one side while laying down? Does it resolve if you turn over in bed.? Any history of head trauma? Any fever? Any risk factors for stroke ? In middle age and older adults who vertigo when the roll onto one side this is a fairly common occurrence. If the problem persists you can see the doctor.
