A member asked:

If you breakout in hives and think it might be food, how far back should you track your food back to? or how long does it take to react?

Minutes to 2 hours: Acute urticaria (hives) and angioedema (swelling) are the most common cutaneous manifestations of food allergy. Food hypersensitivity reactions are classically rapid in onset, typically beginning within a few minutes to 2 hours from the time of ingestion.
