Chest pain x1yr. hosp for 10d, prednisone x 8mo and plaquenil, (hydroxychloroquine) methotrexate. dx serositis. why can i not shake the chest pain? better but still pain.

Rule out reflux: the prednisone may be contributing to heartburn and reflux. The serositis my require higher dose prednisone or IV steroids, for a few doses. Add omeprazole, consider low dose doxycycline 20 mg for the effect on the connective tissue, allowing no allergy to tetracycline etc. us a vectra score to monitor inflammation as well as ESR and CRP
