Pelvic pains may be: period pains, but could also be related to a small ovarian cyst or rupture of a small cyst including ovulation, a mild pelvic infection or vaginitis. Some women routinely get cramping before menses instead of during menses. Consider a bladder infection if there is burning with urination. If you are unable to get relief with ibuprofen or naproxen sodium OTC, I suggest further evaluation.
