No rush: If you are not having any pain, abnormal discharge, or heavy bleeding then there is no rush to see your Ob/Gyn. You should be taking vitamins and drinking lots of fluids. A good time to start our prenatal care, if you are not having problems, is about when you are 8 to 12 weeks pregnant. The metoprolol is ok to take in pregnancy but you could call your Ob/Gyn and get an opinion on that.

Metoprolol: Short acting metroprol is generally safe in pregnancy so that should not be a concern in itself.
