Too fast: It take a few minutes for it to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Then it goes to the liver and is converted to its active form, ulifloxacin. Then back to the bloodstream where it can flow to and through the kidneys. Around half of the drug is lost in the urine in about 10 hours.
