Can trinchomanosis cure it's self for men if it's been months, or is the infection just dormant?

NO: It ordinarily does not go away by itself. You must not confuse "dormant" with asymptomatic(not having symptoms). You may still convey the infection even if you have no symptoms. In summary, if you have been exposed or you are aware of any partners who have been diagnosed with it- you should see your provider get tested and likely be treated. Avoid sexual activity until then
