Lack of sex not caus: Epididymitis is not caused by of lack of inactive sex. Although the exact cause is unknown, it is thought to be caused by a back flow of urine to the epididymis. This common in men who have urine obstruction problem or enlarge prostates or sometime seen in heavy lifters who lift with full bladders or men with indwelling catheters. Lack of sex does not cause epididymitis.
