Cramping in calves: Sorry you are having this problem. Hard to localize issue without a thorough exam /assessment. Your doctor (usually a neurologist or physiatrist) will ask about the history (what precedes or precipitates cramping), family history. They will get blood tests, do an exam and maybe do an EMG-NCS study. The issue may be anything from lactic acid build up from overuse to a primary muscle disorder.
