A member asked:

Is prognosis poor for peritoneal disease in a colon can patient ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cancer: If the colon cancer has spread away from the starting point it is always a concern. Your oncologist should always be asked what the prognosis will be if the cancer has spread. What will be my 6 month survival rate with and without chemo. If I do get chemo will there be a recurrence. It is hard to get a diagnosis of cancer but it your quality of life that matters and do what is best for you.
