Different antibiotic: Recurrent C diff colitis is very common and your risk of developing another infection are increased if you are in completely treated the first time and if you immune system is not 100% and if your colonic flora and fauna has not returned to normal. There are about three or four different oral antibiotics that one can use for C diff colitis and if that doesn't work there's always a fecal transplant
