BV: This is probably bacterial vaginosis. Your doctor can evaluate this and prescribe a medication. There are a number of naturpathic remedies avaiable as well, though they have undocumented effectiveness. Garlic is not known to cure bacterial vaginosis.

Vaginal Odor: you most likely have an infection, likely yeast. I'm not sure how garlic relates to that. Since it appears that you have not been treated for this in the past I suggest you see a physician for an exam and treatment.
