Talk to Dr.: Sounds like you need your treatment changed, particularly since the pain can impair athletic performance. Your Dr will likely switch medications so you avoid the side effects.

Severe allergies. I take Singulair (montelukast) 10mg 1x day and Ventolin inhaler 2-3x day. Not much of a relief. Can I take zyrtec too...
