Normal: Yes this is normal. During menstruation your levels of estrogen and progesterone fluctuate. Estrogen and progresterone can cause breast tissue to change and grow when present and when not present or low the breast tissue can shrink slightly. This constant growing and shrinking can lead to pain especially during menstruation.
