A member asked:

Why do i have migraines before my period???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exact reason unknown: but along with other uncomfortable symptoms a woman can experience migraine headaches prior to her menses. In many women these specific types of headaches resolve once the period begins flowing. Explanations revolve around hormonal fluctuations but of course, we blame those for everything. Truth is we don't know. Wanna' talk to me about it? I'm a HEADACHE neurologist: www.healthtap.com/drsaghafi
