Quantitative HCG: A quantitative HCG can tell you more about what you should see on ultrasound and repeating it to be sure it doubles will tell you if the pregnancy is growing properly. If it is an ectopic pregnancy or blighted ovum it won't increase as fast or will even fall. Hope this helps.
