Multiple..: There are multiple tests that range from blood tests to tissue biopsy, however great part of the diagnosis relies on symptoms which are allergic type, systemic and gastrointestinal symptoms. You would need to see an Allergist/Immunologist for evaluation and treatment.

Mast Cell Testing: There is a strong connection between joint hypermobility disorder and mast cell activation disorders, which you should be aware of and discuss with you physicians. The evaluation for mast cell disease is evolving, but generally depends on ruling out idiopathic anaphylaxis and mastocytosis with laboratory testing and detailed interview. If ruled out, but MCAS is suspected, then options do exist!
