See your dentist: It's really hard to say why your tooth is hurting so much... could be a deep filling, could be your bite, could be an abscess. Physically evaluating the tooth with a radiograph will provide your dentist the answers you seek. Please call for an appointment.

Pain: Pain is a red flag telling you that something is wrong. After any surgical procedure, including a dental restoration, a healing period is to be expected. If pain does not begin to diminish by 48 hours after the procedure, call your Dentist. In the meantime take OTC analgesics exactly as per package instructions. Avoid anything too hot or too cold.
