Anal discomfort: Likely hemorrhoids with the cramping of period irritating the rectal area( they are near each other). Follow up with urgent care /doctor.They can give you Anusol .Try sitz baths, when sitting get up every 45 minutes as sitting increases pressure and promotes hemorrhoids as well
