A member asked:

My dad is 55. should he be screened for prostate cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely!!!!!: What a good son you are! Your dad should have started prostate screenings some time ago. It is important to be checked for this disease as well as others. What is most important here is forming a relationship with a physician that can screen and then refer to the appropriate Doc should ANY need arise. Trying to find your way through the medical maze leads to frustration.
