My sympathies 2 U 2: Both you and your gf may benefit from post-rape counseling and Tx. PTSD can be averted early into the recovery. Even the one who commits cruel criminal acts is often unable to say why they do what they do. It would not help us much anyway since there's no rational reason. If you are asking about the 'scent' mark that animals use - I'm not sure humans have that sense at all but surely not 4ever.
