It's possible: If your periods are always consistent and this one is very different, it is possible that pregnancy could make that type of change, but so can other things that affect your hormone levels causing a very slow sloughing of the uterine lining. A pregnancy test is the most reliable way to answer the question. If negative, continue to monitor for other changes and see md if new concerns.
