Unrelated: Hard to see relation between runny nose and congestion with pain in left groin unless you are coughing and have a hernia which is aggravated with the cough. You may have allergy which is caused by something at night in your bedroom..? Try to dust, vacuum, change sheets and mattress pad and any old carpets.

Possible Allergic: RHINITIS. I do not think the 2 symptoms are related. Nasal congestion could be treated conservatively with Anti Histaminics like Benadryl( Can make oone Drowsy) or Clritin like drug, With Steam Inhalation and Vicks. If not improved please get examined for possible sinusitis. Groin Pain needs more information and Proper Examination.
