It may cause false +: test for amphetamine if you are being drug tested on a regular basis. Unfortunately, pretty much every available decongestant has a similar molecular structure to amphetamine. Definitive tests will show that it is not a true positive. If the stuffy nose is chronic it is probably allergic in nature, and nasal steroids, which are now OTC, will help more. Stop or cut down smoking if you smoke.
