Proper posture: A properly balanced spine keeps the head centered over the pelvis as viewed from both the front and the side. It is normal to have the so called "dents" as previously explained. Best way to maintain "perfect" posture is practice with a book on your head. Balance the book, and your head is balanced. Now, remember this position. The curves that exist when balanced are your normal curves.
