Tongue: Irritability or low grade inflammation of the tongue or superficial nerves of the tongue could be due to vitamin deficiency or intolerance to toothpaste,mouth wash, or may be of unknown cause. If this persists or worsens you could consult the oral pathology department at a dental school for full evaluation.
