Time: The pills will slow bleeding but with PCOS it will take at least one full package of pills to get control of the bleeding.You have been having anovulatory bleeding.Estrogen makes the lining grow but if you don't ovulate it never stops growing and matures so the lining gets too thick to be supported and starts breaking off and bleeding.This can result in a raw endometrium.It takes time to reverse
