Reflux? Rhinitis?: Since your symptoms occur during the night, I suspect some nocturnal throat irritation is the cause, perhaps from acid reflux or from postnasal drainage as from chronic rhinitis or from sinusitis. See your clinician to sort it out and prepare a treatment plan. Hope that helps.
