NSAIDs: If you cannot take Rx NSAIDs such as Motrin Naprosyn, (naproxen) etc, you should not take the OTC versions which are the same drug, just in lower doses, i.e. Advil, Motrin IB, etc. Unless you have an allergy or liver contraindication, stay with acetaminophen (TYLENOL) and limit your total 24 hour dosage to 3,000 mg.
