H pylori: in most settings, H pylori should be documented to have been eradicated by either a breath test no earlier than four weeks after stopping antibiotics or a stool test no earlier than six weeks. You must be off antibiotics for a month and PPI's for a week when tested. There is no role for the blood test in this setting. If still present, sometimes endoscopy with biopsy is needed. Good luck.
