Kind of: the compound is a sodium salt so it does have some sodium in it but not enough to affect those who are watching it reducing their sodium intake hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr. R

Yes: The amount of sodium in Docusate Sodium(Colace) is not stated but the manufacturer clearly state that the amount is clinically insignificant. So I would not be concerned if you are on a salt restricted diet.
