Not affect medicatio: I am sorry to hear about your vomitting. No throwing up 5 days after taking azithromycin will not affect the medication. Your body has already absorbed the azithromycin, so throwing up will not affect the medication. It is true that throwing up is a side effect of azithromycin. If you continue to throw up more and more than you should consult a physician for help. But otherwise you should be ok.
