Colitis: That is where the rectum and the descending colon come together and hold your stool prior to a BM. It is also where your left ovary is. Most likely the pain is from one of these two organs. If you are having other bowel symptoms and it is not too severe it is ok to wait a couple of days. If it worsens or you see blood see your physician. IF not you should also be evaluated by your GYN.
