Not uncommon: after a pregnancy, miscarriage, or an abortion, it is not uncommon to have a delay before getting your period or even for your period to be irregular at first. That you are having a period early is much better than skipping a period, so I would not be worried, but continue to track your periods to ensure a regula If you had irregular periods prior to your pregnancy then you should get e a doctor.

Normal variation: There is some normal variation in cycle length unless you are using hormonal contraception ( pills, patches, or Nuvaring). Some eggs mature faster and some mature more slowly. Also, remember that not all months are the same length. Counting your cycle length from the first day of one to the first day of the next is more reliable than using calendar days to determine regularity. Hope this helps.
